Life Changing Events

First-time TMoD Kate Daniels led a smooth, educational, and fun-filled meeting with a very appropriate theme for her, Major Life Changing Events. On the verge of just such an event herself, Kate wove the theme throughout the meeting and related it to the functionaries and speakers. Fifteen members and one guest were present.

Tonya Holloway led Table Topics, which KJ Woods won:


Prepared speeches included Lacey Raak's #4 speech The End of Days, in which she explored the implications of the Mayan prophesy for December 21, 2012. Lacey was voted both Best Speaker as well as Most Improved. Congratulations Lacey!


Lacey was evaluated by KJ Woods in his first time as evaluator.


Carl Thormeyer gave a #7 speech, the second in a trilogy of speeches about a very timely topic, health care reform and in particular Obama's plan and the various responses to it. His speech was entitled The Health Care Debate: The Issues:


Carl was evaluated by Jim Burlison, who was selected Best Evaluator by general evaluator Natalie Laudier:
