De-Stress

With a small end-of quarter turnout of 12 members and one guest, experienced Toastmaster Emilie Staryak led a meeting devoted to finding ways to reduce stress. From deep breathing to punching bags, we left the meeting with new tactics for dealing with all that in our busy lives!

Titles

With sixteen members and four guests present, Karen Woodson got us off to a great start by writing a poem for Opening Remarks:


We then inducted Khalid "K.J." Woods into membership, giving us seventeen members and three guests present....

Long-time member and Past President Joe Tacker then took over as Toastmaster, with a theme of "titles" (as in books).

Margaret Stevens was voted Best Table Topics Speaker:


Natalia Shilova was voted both Best Speaker as well as Most Improved Speaker for her Icebreaker Past, Present, and Future:

Daylight Savings Time - Love it or Hate It?

Seventeen members and three guests were present as VPE Tito DeJesus led a fine meeting revolving around the pros and cons of Daylight Saving Time! We did have to use a little imagination, however, as we were unable to bring up the computer to use PowerPoint slides. These are included in the links below.

Thirteen members and three guests were present as Veteran Toastmaster Art Testani led us through a spirited meeting on the theme of "March" and its many dimensions - from Shakespeare to newly blooming flowers.
